How Campus Mart Works

Your step-by-step guide to safe campus trading

Step 1Create Your Account

Sign up with your student email. Choose your role — Buyer or Seller — and fill in your campus details (Faculty, Department).

Step 2Set Up Your Security PIN

Sellers must create a 4-digit withdrawal PIN in the Seller Dashboard before requesting payouts. You can also update it in Profile Settings.

Step 3Browse or List Items

Buyers can explore categories, search for items, or browse storefronts. Sellers tap the "Sell" button to upload photos, set a price, and publish.

Step 4Chat & Place Order

Interested in an item? Tap "Inquire" to open a secure chat with the seller. Once you agree on terms, tap "Place Order" to begin the transaction.

Step 5Pay & Meet Safely

Pay via Paystack (escrow-protected) or choose Pay-on-Delivery. Always meet at a Safe Trade Zone — ICT Lab, Library, or Main Gate.

Step 6Confirm & Review

After receiving the item, tap "Confirm Receipt" to release funds to the seller. Leave a star rating to help other students make informed decisions.

Pro Tip: Sellers can set up their withdrawal PIN anytime from Seller Dashboard or Profile Settings → Security PIN. Always verify your MoMo name before requesting a payout!
